BRIDGE COURSES
AIM
To prepare the new entrants for the intellectual challenges of a university education.
OBJECTIVES
- To bridge the gap between subjects studied at Pre –university level and subjects they would be studying in the Institution.
- To provide incoming students with the academic skills necessary to be successful in their college experience.
- To improve confidence of the slow learners to meet the knowledge requirements.
- To improve the preparation and ease the transition into college
PROCESS
Faculty conduct introductory classes as Bridge course for newly admitted students in the beginning of the 1st semester. Introductory classes are also conducted for the students of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th semester as per requirement.
The span of the course is one week or fifteen days as per requirement.
Students are introduced with the fundamental concepts of the concerning subject.
Advance Bridge courses are conducted in English, Physics, Zoology, and Microbiology.
