About the College

Janata Mahavidyalaya offers education from Class XI to the postgraduate level and also has a recognized research center. The college has four faculties: Science, Arts, Commerce, and MCVC (Junior College). It is NAAC re-accredited with a B++ Grade and a CGPA of 2.95.

The campus has spacious, separate buildings for each faculty, well-equipped science laboratories, and a rich library. Located in Chandrapur, the college is easily accessible from the city as well as nearby rural areas. It promotes all-round development and employability through activities such as NCC, NSS, cultural events, sports, and career guidance programs.

The annual magazine “Mohor” nurtures students’ literary interests. With experienced and dedicated staff, the college maintains discipline and academic consistency. Situated in an industrial district, the college equips students with practical skills relevant to industrial careers. Many of our alumni are successfully working in various industries, and we take pride in their achievements.
